Still Life

Der Ausgangspunkt dieser Serie sind die Spuren von Menschen. Was hinterlassen sie, wie sehen die Orte nach ihrem Verschwinden aus. Meine Aufmerksamkeit richtete sich auf die zurück gelassenen Gegenstände und ihre Beziehung zum Hintergrund des Bildausschnitts. Der Raum reduziert sich zur Fläche, gibt dem Gegenstand eine Bühne, seine Geschichte zu erzählen. Trotzdem liegt die Konzentration im Moment der Stille und Einsamkeit. Ihn halte ich fest.
Die Bilder wurden zum Designmai 2008 im foto-shop, Brunnenstraße 11, in Berlin ausgestellt.

/// The traces of humans are building the core of this series. What do they leave behind. How do places look like after their disappearance. My attention was focused on the things left behind and their relation to the pictures background. Space is reduced to surface, it gives the things a stage to tell their stories. Nevertheless it is the moment of silence and loneliness where the concentration is focused in. This is what I keep.
