Die Performance-Reihe „SLOW PIECES“ hinterfragt menschliche Bedürfnisse und das Dasein in der Welt im Allgemeinen. Natürliche und kulturelle Bedürfnisse werden hervorgehoben, exponiert und deformiert. All dies geschieht in Zeitlupe. Das erste SLOW PIECE beginnt mit den natürlichen Bedürfnissen eines Menschen wie trinken, essen, schlafen. In den darauf folgenden Perfomances werden die natürlichen Bedürfnisse in kulturelle Bedürfnisse transformiert.

/// „The SLOW PIECES are a performance series asking for human needs and likewise putting in to question (how) to be in the world. Natural and cultural needs will be exposed, shown, pointed at, performed, and deformed. Everything will happen in slow motion. The SLOW PIECES will start with the natural needs of a human being, before being transformed into cultural needs. Meaning drinking, eating, sleeping at first, then writing, expression, medial orchestration, mediation… to use cultural techniques, as well as habits to create identity and elimination, functional and destructive, open and cut down.“ Lisa Stertz
